It hardly seems possible, but Thanksgiving is right around the corner. Many of us have short work weeks or have already started our vacation. I pray that everyone enjoys this week with family and friends, eats some delicious food, finds some great Christmas gift deals, and of course, most importantly, BE THANKFUL!

Yesterday at New Hope was a really busy, but blessed day! The day started by carrying in 23 baskets, 23 frozen turkeys and all the fixin's for our Baskets of Blessing day. It was such a joy to watch the assembly line as everyone shared in the joy of assembling these baskets to bless others this Thanksgiving. Thanks to everyone who sponsored a basket, shopped for the groceries, stored turkeys in their freezers, helped locate families in need, prayed for them and spent part of your Sunday afternoon delivering and sharing the love of Christ with families! What an amazing privilege to serve Christ by serving others! Check out some of the pics by

Our God-Thanking service was a great reminder of God's grace, love and provision in our lives! We ALL have so much to be thankful for and rather than taking life for granted, we should take it with GRATITUDE! During the service, we took time to dedicate and prayerfully bless the 26 Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes that were given. These will be shipped around the world and provide hope and share the love of Christ with God's precious children. THANKS for your generosity and desire to be a blessing this Thanksgiving season!
After the service we shared a delicious Thanksgiving dinner with family and friends of New Hope! Thanks to everyone who made that happen! On top of it all, yesterday was my birthday...so that made everything even more "awesomer"! I appreciate everyone who wished me happy birthday... the cake was delicious. :) Anyway...
I share all of this from a heart that is truly touched by the awakening that is happening at New Hope! As I shared a few weeks ago, our focus on others IS what matters to HIM! We are seeing proof in many ways that when we do what matters to God...feeding the hungry, clothing those who have nothing, meeting the needs of others... God will provide! On top of that, I have heard testimony after testimony of people who have found their purpose, are sacrificing to help others, who cannot wait to help someone else...it is evident that we are becoming who God desires us to be... HIS HANDS AND FEET! Keep it up :)
Working with you for HIM!
